Spring Morning – Muskoka

I went out early to avoid the blackflies, which are one of the first biting insects to come out in spring.

The sun had just risen, and there was a lot of mist still hanging in the air. It’s hard to beat the combination of early morning sun and mist. It’s just begging for a photograph.

This is a neighbour’s driveway, near my parents’ cottage.

(I got back to the cottage just as the blackflies started to bite me. I hate blackflies!)
