There is a small year-round indoor farmers’ market at the Don Valley Brickworks, and, of course, dogs are not allowed in. You often see people waiting outside with their dogs while their friends go inside to shop.
This woman was looking after a Great Dane and another dog. The other dog kept turning around to poke at the shopping bags of people going past, got tangled up in his leash a couple of times, and generally made a mild nuisance of himself. The Great Dane, on the other hand, sat down in a dignified manner and generally looked as if he was there to guard his human. Eventually he lay down beside her, because even big dignified dogs run out of patience eventually.
