Winter: Light

The light in winter can be frustrating. Sometimes it’s so dull that nothing has shadows, and all your photographs look two-dimensional. Other times it’s so bright that whole sections of your pictures are flat white.

In between those times, however, the light is fascinating. It can be hazy, eerie, dramatic, delicate, or crystalline. It can linger for hours or change in a few seconds.
