Year of the Horse

Today marks the Lunar New Year, and according to the Chinese zodiac we are now entering the Year of the Horse.

This handsome fellow was one of the horses I saw at the Royal Agricultural Winter Fair in November, in the exercise ring of the Horse Palace. His particular way of holding his head reminded me a great deal of the Art Deco carvings on the outside of the building (which I posted about earlier: https://eabeattiephoto.wordpress.com/2013/12/21/exhibition-place-part-6/ ).
